Pop-up shop The Vegan Fiesta is making a return to Basingstoke’s Festival Place, giving shoppers a chance to find eco-friendly gifts this Christmas.
The stalls include delicious foods from local chefs, such as salad boxes by Angelina Cantina, healthy drinks by Sambucha and nut-based cheeses by Sophie’s Delight.
If you’re looking for a sweet treat, The Vegan Scullery is a small local business that produces handmade vegan bakes, from Bischoff brownies to pumpkin pies.
There are also several artisan stalls selling natural skincare products and ethical homeware.
Organised by Sparkle Vegan Events, the pop-up provides workshops and activity stalls where sellers showcase their talents. Customers can pick up information leaflets about how to live greener lives and try out plastic free temporary tattoos.
The popup first opened in March 2020 but was forced to shut up shop during the Covid-19 pandemic.
After a successful reopening, the pop-up will be back in Basingstoke on November 7. Following this, on December 5 a stall will open for a Christmas special.
From jazzy jewellery to calming crystals, there will be plenty of stocking filler material available to buy before the big day.
The pop-up shop, which will be in a new location near Marks and Spencer in Bedford Square, will then return on the first Sunday of each month during the winter.
